Love a neighbourhood resto and Lyon’s is a great example of one. The restaurant’s focus is fish and seafood; the grub is tasty and the space is good looking. The service is also on point. We had: the crispy polenta bites with parmesan, truffle and marinated yolk; Stone Bass tartare, wasabi, mayo, tobiko; crispy potato and chip shop curry; salt beef, potato and pickle salad; and the crispy soft shell crabs with spicy Thai salad and sriracha mayo. All very good. I surprised myself how much I enjoyed the polenta bites we ordered as I’m not the biggest fan of polenta (unless it’s in a cake, lol). I love it when a restaurant challenges your position on certain ingredients and foods.
