Refined . Italian Inspired . Mayfair

Owned by the folks behind, Clipstone, Portland and The Quality Chop House group of restaurants, you know you’re in safe hands.

The food at Emilia’s is elegant and tasty but it’s certainly comes with a corresponding price tag. The food is inspired by Emilia-Romagna in Italy but with British produce at its heart. All the fare was spot on but I particularly enjoyed the rabbit raviolo.

The space is classic with some modern touches and annexed to Bonhams. I personally don’t really like mixed use spaces, I can never quite get in the vibe – same thing with Palatino in Clerkenwell.

If you’re after a more casual drinks affair, stay downstairs, if you want a more formal dining affair, then mount the stairs and get seated on the first floor. Service is friendly. Would go back if someone else is paying.
