‘Japanese’ Fare. London Town

Ross Shonhan, formerly of Nobu is the man behind a group of restaurants, which look to the food trends of modern day Japan for inspiration. Under this umbrella sits ramen bars (Bone Daddies), eateries serving up bao buns (Flesh and Bones) and Yōshoku, Western inspired Japanese cuisine (Shackfuyu). I don’t eat pork, so I can’t have any of the pork based options, so my go to dish at Bone Daddies is the T22 (noodles in a warming broth with pulled chicken, cock scratchings, onion, bamboo, Nori, Shiitake mushrooms, topped with an egg) . They also have a few bao buns on the menu (I’ve had the salmon and chicken ones and they are consistently good).
