White Men Can’t Jerk is a pop up stall that seems to roam across the different Street Feast locations and I caught them at Dalston Yard one hot Saturday afternoon. WMCJ is a pop up that serves up dishes which combine the founders love of Caribbean food with their British heritage e.g Curried Mutton Shepherd’s Pie. I went with something a little less adventurous – the jerk chicken burger – nice fluffy brioche bun stuffed with shredded chicken, a bit of salad and pineapple and mango salsa; it was super tasty, super slobbery and super spicy (they throw in a whole scotch bonnet).
