Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a sweet fiend. I can spend hours in sweet shops just poring over all the different sugary options.
I’d heard of Handsome Dan’s, so when I noticed it from the corner of my eye whilst browsing a vintage shop in a tiny arcade in Brooklyn, I decided to have a look around.
This shoe box of a candy store is filled with much character and it’s obvious the owner is a genuine lover of sweets. I didn’t have much time to do a deep dive into the shop, so I picked up a little treat to take home with me – a bottle of pear hard candy (as seen above).
