My last day in New York and I was back in Brooklyn.Desperate for a pizza, I did a bit of a search online and settled on Fornino on Bedford Avenue.
I got a lunch deal for $12: mixed leaf salad and parmesan shavings with garlic bread to start and a wood fired funghi misti pizza (mozzarella, mixed wild mushroom, caciocavallo, white truffle oil) for my main.
As often is the case, my eyes were bigger than my mouth, however, it was worth the carb induced coma I slipped into.
