After sunning myself in Dolores Park, I needed to cool off and what better way than with an ice cream. At the bottom of the hilly park is Bi-Rite Creamery, a retro looking ice cream joint.
I was going to pick the salted caramel option but the server urged me to opt for the brown sugar with ginger caramel swirl instead. And oh boy, I am so thrilled I did! It had the perfect measurement of sugar and a delightfully velvety texture.
I think this was my favourite ice cream of the three I tried in San Francisco.
