Top Nosh . Desolate Dining Room

The name is Dutch and apparently equates to something along the lines of “an atmosphere which allows good times to happen”. I believe one of the co-owners is Dutch and they have a few things on the menu like bitterballen that nod to that part of the world but overall the cuisine falls into that well trodden modern European category. 

The food is very good albeit pretty spenny. These guys GET flavour my gosh. Highlights: raviolo – oomph. The gnocchi and sirloin also on point. It’s a lovely, elegant and cool space.

The pink wine we had was also a banger.

Baffled as to why it’s not rammed to be honest especially when places have 2hr waiting lists (absolutely no shade Gloria’s) and you could probably turn up here on a Thur and Sat night without booking and still get seated. Perfect for insular groups who don’t need a room that is buzzing with activity but happy to bring their own fun. Definitely a no no for a first date as you need that buzz around you to make things less awkward.
