My first morning in New York, with no research on places to eat, I went to the reception desk at the Ace for a recommendation. They gave me a couple of options – I settled on the Coffee Shop in Union Square (of Sex and the City fame). Students, business men, hipsters all crammed inside this fairly large and energetic restaurant. I ordered pancakes with maple syrup and mixed fruit and wasn’t disappointed.
