BYOB – I’ve only experienced this in really low rent restaurants in London, so was pleasantly surprised to see it as fairly standard practice in San Francisco. Armed with a nice bottle of red, we strolled down the road to French bistro Zazie. The duck and mash was hearty and pleasurable. I really liked the cosy, casual vibe of this neighbourhood restaurant.
