My friend said that was a gross tag line, who the hell wants to associate shit with food? I do, clearly…
Nothing irks me more than wasted calories and giving my well earned cash to people / places that don’t deserve it.
So, that’s what this blog is all about…I document my food experiences in London town mainly, sometimes abroad, separating the wheat from the chaff, so YOU dear reader can reap the rewards.
I can cook but I don’t cook because I’m way better at eating (play to your strengths and all that), so if you’re looking for recipe inspiration I can’t help you boo BUT if you want honest, zero bullshit insights into eateries, ding ding, you’ve come to the right place.
Oh and if you are wondering how I can afford to eat out so much…well it’s my biggest expense, I work a full time job in advertising just to fund my eating addiction.
Street food or fine dining? I eat it all man, so long as it tastes good.
For me, food is kind of the main thing but as we all know a great meal can be ruined by crap service, so I try and cover off the whole restaurant experience when I do my long form write ups (location, the space, food & service, vibe and cost) to give a more holistic view of the place I’m writing about. I haven’t always been uniform in this approach but all my most recent reviews should reflect this.
I’ve started bunching up places I’ve been into categories because sometimes friends will ask for specific recommendations e.g “Oh, know any nice cafes or delis?” and I always stumble coz I’ve been to so many places it’s difficult to recall ’em all in a flash, so I’m now all about that list life.

Disclaimer: I am certainly no connoisseur of food and drink, all I know is what tastes good and what doesn’t, so if you think my write ups are amateur, that’s coz they are bruhhh – ain’t no Jay Rayner! I also have only recently started eating red meat again, in case you wonder why a lot of the dishes I’ve written about are either chicken or duck based.
