This Japanese group of casual restaurants serves up “foods current in Japan” focusing on different things e.g at ‘Flesh & Buns’ their main output is bao buns whereas at Bone Daddies, ramen is king. Have had their ramen several times and it is solid – also had their steamed buns (chicken, salmon) which were satisfying especially when pumped with some of their delicious house chilli sauce.
Dishoom as a restaurant group is on to a winning formula: all their spaces are beautiful, the food is generally quite good and it’s affordable by London standards. If you pick the right dishes, you can certainly eat here for under £20 – I’d go for the chicken ruby, rice and naan.
